Congratulations to CAK 9th grader, Kristen Moor! She was just named to the Top 300 in the 2024 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge, the nation’s premier science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) competition for middle school students for her ‘Limiting Lunchroom Loudness’ project in which she tested the effectiveness of different sound dampening materials. The Thermo Fisher JIC reaches 65,000 students annually through the Society’s Affiliated Science Fair network. This is her second year to receive a Top 300 award! Way to go, Warrior! #cakwarriors
