2022 SASEF Tentative Dates

The 2022 Southern Appalachian Science & Engineering Fair is tentatively set to be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the Student Union on the campus of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The awards ceremony is tentatively set to be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Cox Auditorium in the Alumni Memorial Building on the campus of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Southern Appalachian Science & Engineering Fair

The Southern Appalachian Science & Engineering Fair (SASEF) is an annual event traditionally held during the last week of March or first week of April on the campus at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Students are invited to present their research covering a variety of categories in STEM. There are two divisions of competition — Junior Division for middle school students, grades 6 – 8, and Senior Division for high school students, grades 9 – 12.
