This will prompt you to fill in a form that indicates that your gift supports “Research K-12 STEM Program Fund”. After entering your information, please check the box for “I have additional comments about my gift” and type “SASEF” in the box.
Why donate to SASEF?
Participation in science fairs increases motivation to go into STEM careers, contributes to critical thinking skills and social development, and increases self-confidence. The experience of developing a project and presenting it to a panel of professionals is life-changing for many students. Students who are interested in STEM are encouraged by the professional scientists and engineers they meet at SASEF; many students who believe that they are not interested in STEM careers, find that interest in a science fair project because it allows them to be creative and explore outside the curriculum. Participation in SASEF is the first step in increasing awareness of the many aspects of STEM and its role in the community. In summary, a science fair is an excellent investment of time and energy that produces amazing rewards. It can open doors to career opportunities, improve speaking skills and increase scientific knowledge.
